About Me
I’m head of development at Imagine Documentaries, the nonfiction division of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment. I come up with ideas — and help directors develop theirs’ — to make films and docuseries. Before this, I was director of development at NBC News Studios.
My interests are pretty broad, which keeps my slate colorful: A project I developed and co-produced about sex researcher Shere Hite debuted at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival (acquired by IFC Films). Before that, Diamond Hands (MSNBC + Peacock, debuted at SXSW 2022), was the unexpected outcome of my obsession with the Wall Street Bets subreddit about nine months before it was making news.
Previously, I built and launched NBC’s streaming network, NBC News Now. As the founding executive producer, I took the stream from conception to live, daily execution, managing large editorial teams and building new processes for content creation at NBC News.
I spent more than a decade at CNN, largely focused on the tech sector and the intersection of technology and humanity. I was the executive producer of CNN’s first streaming docuseries, Mostly Human, and got the chance to produce a short film, Vaquita, which screened at the Mountainfilm Telluride Film Festival.
In college, my major was basically The Cornell Daily Sun, where I had the privilege of serving as editor-in-chief.
When a smart and meaty story is told in a way that makes you want to hear it, I smile.
